Workshop instructor: Keegan Kuhn is an award-winning documentary filmmaker with over a decade in the industry. He is the co-director of renowned films Cowspiracy, executive produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, What The Health, executive produced by Joaquin Phoenix, Running For Good, executive produced by James Cromwell, producer of The End Of Medicine, Milked, and SLAY, among many more. Keegan has made a name for himself in creating engaging, ground-breaking and highly marketable films. His work has been credited with being the most successful tools in behavior change towards a vegan lifestyle. Keegan's skills as a director, producer, cinematographer, editor, animator and composer have been utilized in film subjects as diverse as modern Alaskan homesteading, gender inequality, animal rescues, buddhism, endurance sports, food justice and environmental destruction. He is motivated by a deep desire to shed light on untold stories of the most downtrodden in our society, and to raise awareness through greater visibility of social justice issues. Keegan has done literally every job in filmmaking, from writing to marketing and beyond, making him uniquely qualified to lead filmmaking workshops and courses.
This one day intensive online workshop will include all of the above, instructor Keegan’s personal stories and experiences getting his films on Netflix and other international platforms, as well as the ins-and-outs of an ever changing filmmaking landscape. This course is for everyone from absolute beginners to seasoned professionals who are looking for a new perspectives and avenues to progress their films.
The workshop will take place January 21st. 2023 from 12pm-5pm ET.
The first half of the day will be going over everything from from concept to delivery.
The second half of the day (or as time allows) the class with workshop attendees film ideas, getting professional feedback on their concepts and how best to approach them.
This intensive workshop is only $250.
(Keegan typically charges $100 per hour for film consulting)
